DIRECTOR OF MISSIONS
Dan Walker has been the Director of Missions since January of 1997. Prior to coming to Salt Lake Baptist Association, Dan was the Pastor of University Baptist Church in Boise, Idaho for 16 ½ years. As Director of Missions, Walker oversees the administration of the Salt Lake Baptist Association and its ministry organizations and teams. Walker serves as Editor of the Salt Lake Baptist Association newsletter, the team leader for the Strengthening Existing Church Team and as a consultant and resource person to the 31 churches and missions of the Association.

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
Debbie Ward joined the Salt Lake Baptist Association staff in January 2005. Debbie comes to us highly qualified having served for 12 years with the Utah-Idaho Southern Baptist Convention as Director of Business Services and Associate Editor of "The Witness". Her Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas and her experience with the State convention will help us serve the churches of the Salt Lake Baptist Association with the highest level of quality and professionalism.

DISASTER RELIEF DIRECTOR
Mark Madison was one of the first two volunteers that caught the vision of disaster relief ministry in the Salt lake Baptist Association. In October of 2002 when the organization was begun Mark was there with his expertise to assist. After receiving his Bachelors of Business Administration from University of Texas, Madison spent 35 years in the field of financial management with Prudential Financial Inc. During his tenure with Prudential he received the following Masters level degrees CLU, CMFC, CLTC, LUTCF, and CHFC. As a Prudential associate Madison has been able to apply for and received $8,000 in “Prudential Cares” grants to support Disaster Relief ministries. In 2006 Madison was recognized at Disaster Relief National Round table with the “Distinguished Service Award”. He and his wife Judy have 3 boys and 4 grandchildren.

REACH SALT LAKE DIRECTOR
Jonathan Jones was born and raised in Kings Mountain North Carolina. After earning his BA degree in Social Science Education at Gardner-Webb University he received his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Jones came to Utah as a church planter in 2002. He helped start South Point Church where he still worships and serves as co-pastor. Jones Became the Director of the Baptist Concern Center and shared the vision of expanding the ministry to include a variety of programs under the umbrella of Reach Salt Lake. The ministry now includes Youth Adventure Camps, a Christmas Store, and will begin an after school program in 2008. His wife Christy and his 2 daughters Taylor and Sydney are a delight in his life.

REACH SALT LAKE ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Deanna Epps was born and raised in Toccoa, Georgia, attended college at North Georgia College and State University, majoring in biology. She was very active in the Baptist Student Union and served as a summer missionary in Salt Lake City assigned to the Baptist Concern Center in 1999. Developing a heart for that ministry she returned in September 2001 to begin a term serving as a Semester Missionary. Deanna has been an incredibly valuable asset to the Reach Salt Lake Ministry. She will be directing the after school program beginning in 2008.

SALT COMPANY DIRECTOR
Jared Jenkins is a product of The Salt Company. During the time he received his education and his engineering degree from the Univ of Utah he was an active member and leader in The Salt Company. For the last two years Jenkins has been directing the Salt Company and is an active member of South Point Church.

CATALYTIC CHURCH PLANTER / MINISTER OF MISSIONS
Stan Felder has been starting churches since 1986. He helped launch the mult-housing ministry in Houston Texas before moving to eastern Colorado where he began 11 new churches and outreach ministries. Stan came to SLBA in January 2007 and oversees the church planting and outreach ministries with our existing churches. Stan and his wife Karen have five daughters.
