Here are some tips and hints to help you have a successful activity to reach moms and women.

1. If women from your church come to help (or watch) remind them that the purpose of the mom's club is to minister to women, not to socialize.

2. Try to have someone available to help with childcare: babies and toddlers who are too young to participate in the childrens program.

3. Try to make the regular kids club activites so much fun that the older children will not want to be where the moms are.

4. Be sure to give each woman your contact information and also get each woman's contact info as well. Try to follow up each participant with some kind of phone call, letter or visit.

5. Be flexible! It is a rare day indeed when everything goes perfectly as planned, so always be ready to modify lessons, locations and other components if necessary.

6. Prepare activities that can be completed in the time alloted. It is discouraging to get started on a project that you can't finish.

7. Be prepared! It is better to be "over-prepared" than "under-prepared."

8. Rely on the Holy Spirit for guidance and leading.

9. Try to connect your women activities to a Bible passage, biblical principle or spiritual application.

10. Be enthusiastic! Be happy, friendly and encouraging.

11. Be a good listener. Some moms need a sympathetic ear to help them through a trying time or problem. Remember most people who came to Jesus, came because of a personal problem!

12. Learn every ladies name! Wear name tags if needed, but learn each name.
