It causes people to "WANT TO ATTNED YOUR FUNCTION" and it also causes people to "WANT TO RETURN AGAIN". For example: Churches announce usually go something like this... The youth will be going to Six Flags next Friday. We leave at 8 AM and everyone will need to bring $20. Effectiveness ScalesWhile every church makes countless decisions about virtually every event, many organizers are not aware that each decision option has different values for attracing or keeping people. From Food to promotional materials and flyers, not all ideas are equal! Click here to view a sample scale for evaluating effectiveness vs. costs! Promotion Ideas1. Flyers or hand bills - passed out door to door. Full sheets have more room for images and space for information, but half sheets are twice as cheap, but you loose space for information. Two sided flyers can give all the information you want the public to know, but cost more than single sided sheets. 2. Tickets - These can be small event advertizers that look like a door ticket. The benefit is that you can usualy produce several to a page which greatly reduces printing cotst. 3. Redemption Tickets - These can be like advertizing tickets, but they can be used to redeem a prize at your event. For example, it gives time & place for your event and says that bearer can redeem this ticket for a free hamburger, chips and drink, (or cotton candy, or a free family photo, etc...) |
