Knot Fun Game

Objective:

A group activity where the team is untangled into (hopefully) one complete circle.

Players:

5 players or more

Supplies Needed:

Variation 1 - no equipment needed

Variarion 2 - rags or bandanas for each player

Rules:

Variarion 1:

Have the group bunch up together in a tight circle facing each other. Every person places their left hand in toward the circle.

The first person takes his right hand and grabs the left wrist of any person that is not next them (on either side.) The second person also takes his right hand and grabs the left hand of any one else in the circle (that is not next to them.) Go around the circle until eveyone is holding someone else's hand.

Then very carefully, try to untangle the huge knot. Do not let anyone let go or "break the chain". Hopefully, you will end up with one big unbroken circle. However, you may end up with two or more circles. You never know the outcome until the group gets untangled.

Variation 2:

Same as above, except each person holds a rag / bandana in their left hand. Each person grabs a rag instead of a hand to make the chain. This variation is better as it is much easier to keep hold of a rag than it is to hold on to a hand.
