The Gift Wrap Game

What you will need :

Gift items,
wrapping paper
tape, music - that can be turned on and off.

Wrap each gift item in several layers of paper (the number of layers depends on how long you want the game to last - preferably between 3 & 6 layers)

Give your group a gift and tell them when you turn on the music to pass the gift , ( like in the game hot potato) when you turn off the music who ever has the gift gets to take off ONE layer of paper, continue this until the last layer of paper is taken off ,and whoever has the gift unwrapped gets to keep it.

**Alternate Method **

Use dice to determine how many places to the right or left the present should be passed.
You can also write out on index cards sayings like: "Left 2 places" or "Right 6 places."

Suggestions: Have seveal presents going at once. Also, have each present wrapped in a different number of layers. The person who unwraps the last layer gets to keep the present and is removed from play.
