Catch Ball

The team of two who catches all the balls wins.

WHAT YOU NEED:

Plastic drinking cups

tennis balls or ping-pong balls, or ther small ball to throw

HOW TO PLAY:

1. Divide kids into pairs

2. Just like "egg toss" line up one member from each team in a line and facing the other line. Give each team member a cup and a ball.

3. The other team members line up several feet away in a line facing the first line. They are given a cup.

4. The first members throw the ball to their partner who try to catch the ball in the cup. If they miss that team is out.

5. Once everyone throws the first ball, those teams who caught the ball move back a few feet and throw the ball back to their partner.

6. This continues until only one team is left.

Hints:

Balls that bounce out of the cups are not counted.
