Bolo Ball

Objective:

Players compete by throwing rubber balls that have been tied together and try to "lasso" a rung on the PVC ladder. (See purple balls hanging in photo above)

Players:

2 or more players.

Needed:

PVC ladder (also available for check out from SLBA)
12 racquetball or other soft balls (two different colors)
Racquetballs tied together to make the bolos (3 sets per team or 6 balls total)

Rules:

Divide the group into two teams.

Team players take turns throwing the "bolo balls" at the ladder.

10 points for any lasso.
50 points for lassoing all 3 bolos on the same rung.
50 points for lassoing all 3 bolos on different rungs.
No points for balls that fall off a rung.
Bolo balls may be bounced onto rungs.

Highest score wins
or play to a predetermined score (like 100 or 500)

Hints:

Balls can get easily tangled to each other. Have players put one bolo ball set around neck and one in each hand to keep them from getting tangled.
