Window Painting

Paint a "stained-glass" or a "holiday scene" with wipe-away hues.

CRAFT MATERIALS:

Powdered tempera paint
Clear dishwashing liquid
Plastic containers
Masking tape
Newspaper
Paintbrushes

Time needed:

Under 1 Hour

Directions:

1. Combine the powdered paint with small amounts of dishwashing liquid until the mixture becomes the creamy consistency of house paint. Then pour the paint into individual plastic containers.

2. Line the window sash with masking tape and spread newspaper to safeguard the surrounding areas.

3. Paint a masterpiece: a Bible scene or a winter wonderland...

4. To remove the dried paint or to make corrections while decorating, simply rub off the designs with a dry paper towel.

Hint: This also works well on glass panes or picture frames that can be mounted.
